Detect caspases by Western blotting using anti-caspase antibodies
ICT is offering a new line of rabbit polyclonal antibodies to detect caspases for Western blotting. ICT’s antibodies were tested for cross-reactivity with caspases 1-10 and 14, and do not cross-react, unless stated.

Do ELISAs or immunoblotting with cathepsin antibodies
ICT is offering a new line of rabbit polyclonal antibodies to detect human cathepsins for Western blotting. ICT’s antibodies were tested for cross-reactivity with and do not cross-react, unless stated.

• Anti-Cathepsin B was generated using cathepsin B purified from human liver as the immunogen. It does not cross-react with cathepsin D, H, or L. Use in an ELISA at 1:500 or for immunprecipitation at 1:4000 with colorimetric substrates.
• Anti-Cathepsin D was generated using recombinant cathepsin D as the immunogen. It recognizes latent and active cathepsin D (from 45 kDa to 27 kDa) and does not cross-react with cathepsin B, H, or L. Recommended for
immunoblotting at 1:2000 for colorimetric substrates, and 1:6000 for chemiluminescent
substrates.

• Anti-Cathepsin G was generated using cathepsin G purified from human neutrophils as the
immunogen. It does not cross-react with cathepsin B, D, H, or L, nor with granzyme B. Use in an ELISA at 1:1000 or for
immunprecipitation at 1:4000 with colorimetric substrates.
• Anti-Cathepsin H was generated using cathepsin H purified from human liver as the
immunogen. It does not cross-react with cathepsin B, D, or L. Use in an ELISA at 1:500 or for immunprecipitation at 1:4000 with colorimetric substrates. |
• Anti-Cathepsin L
was generated using cathepsin L purified from human liver as the
immunogen. It does not cross-react with cathepsin B, D, or H. Use in an ELISA at 1:250 or for immunprecipitation at 1:8000 with colorimetric substrates. |
Do kinetic studies with purified proteases
ICT is offering a new line of highly active caspase enzymes for high-throughput screening, cleavage studies, and enzyme kinetics, among other applications. Most are >90% pure by SDS-PAGE. 1 U = 1 pmol/min at 30C using the substrates listed.
