What can you do with ICT's cell death probes?

Cell death (green) before and after chemotherapy.
The chemo is working: apoptotic tumor cells fluoresce green after treatment.

Determine the efficacy of chemotherapy in vivo
are you killing the tumor?

FLIVO™ is a valuable tool to evaluate the efficacy of chemotherapy in live animal models. Just inject it intravenously, let it circulate 30-60 minutes and analyze the samples. FLIVO™ is a direct stain: once labeled, tissues are ready for analysis and no further processing is necessary. In this mouse model, Dr. Robert Griffin (U of MN, Minneapolis) was able to assess the efficacy of ATO chemotherapy.

• Non-invasively image apoptosis in vivo: what area of the body is apoptotic?

• Find out how your cells are responding in vitro: are they apoptotic or necrotic?

• Monitor apoptosis in real time in vitro: when are caspases activated?

• Assess neurodegeneration in vivo: what area of the brain is apoptotic?

• Assess eye disease in animals: what cells are dying?
