An antigen-down enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (AD ELISA) is an immunoassay-based technique that utilizes an ELISA plate coated with a target antigen to detect and/or quantify the presence of a specific antibody. Our AD ELISA Development Kit provides seven specially formulated ELISA Solutions development components plus a detailed guide for the initial development and optimization process. AD ELISA formats are a preferred method for detecting antigen-specific antibodies that are present within serum, plasma, or cell culture supernatants (e.g., hybridoma screening). Everything from coating buffers to substrate and stop solutions, are included within this AD ELISA development kit. Each kit comes with enough liquid reagents and ELISA plates to perform ten 96-well ELISA plate assays, plus ten additional plates are included for performance of some optional steps (e.g. establishing a consensus dilution factor range for samples, performing a quality assessment of the plate coating process, normalizing AD ELISA OD450 signal variation events).
