Learn About Our New Products: Biochemicals, Metabolic & Fluorescent Assays, and New Apoptosis Kits!

ImmunoChemistry Technologies is excited to offer new additions in our
Biochemicals, Metabolic Assays, Fluorescent Enzymatic Assays, and
Apoptosis categories.

Biochemicals:

Biochemical reagents are substances used in laboratory assays to detect, measure, or modify specific biochemical components in biological samples. These reagents play a critical role in various biochemical assays and experiments, allowing researchers to study the structure, function, and behavior of biological molecules.

  • Our ultra-pure chemicals are high quality reagents that are essential for scientific assays where accuracy, reliability, and sensitivity are critical. They are used to minimize impurities, reduce background noise, and ensure consistent and reproducible results.
  • Ultra Pure ADP is purified to remove traces of ATP contaminates. This equates to ADP that is greater than 99.9% pure. Commercially available ADP that are contaminated with trace amounts of ATP results in higher backgrounds and reduces assay sensitivity. Purity: greater than 99.9% pure as tested by P31 NMR.

Metabolic Assays:

Metabolism is vital and composed of complex process (pathways) within organisms to maintain homeostasis. These complex pathways are linked together to create or break down molecules to maintain homeostasis. Imbalances in these pathways can lead to diseases such as neurodegenerative, cancer, and diabetes to name a few. Our line of fluorescent Metabolite assays/kits are easy and convenient to use with greater sensitivity than traditional colorimetric assays.

  • Our Metabolic Assays to measure metabolites are more sensitive than conventional colorimetric assays
  • Our Enzymatic Assays used to measure cellular/tissue enzymes are more sensitive than conventional colorimetric assays

Fluorescent Enzymatic Assays:

Fluorescent Enzymatic Assays are a type of biochemical assay that utilize the principle of fluorescence to measure enzymatic activity. Enzymes are biological molecules that catalyze chemical reactions in living organisms, and their activity can be quantified using fluorescent molecules as means of detection.
The advantage of using fluorescent enzymatic assays is they can provide high sensitivity, selectivity, and dynamic range for detecting and measuring enzymatic activity.
Fluorescent enzymatic assays can be designed in a variety of formats depending on the specific requirements of the experiment or application. They are often used in conjunction with other techniques and methods to provide quantitative and qualitative information about enzyme activity and function.

  • Our Fluorescent Assays are non-radioactive and can monitor multiple time points to follow kinetics

Apoptosis:

Apoptosis is a process of programmed cell death that occurs in multicellular organisms. It is a highly regulated and controlled process that occurs normally during development and aging as a homeostatic mechanism to maintain cell populations. ICT offers a full line of products to induce apoptosis, including FLICA, FLIVO, Annexin kits and now we offer products in the Ultra-Sensitive Luminescence and Dual Sensor categories.

Ultra-sensitive luminescence refers to a type of luminescence that exhibits an exceptionally high level of sensitivity. It is typically characterized by a low detection limit, meaning it can detect even trace amounts of a substance with high precision. It can be used to measure subtle changes in biological or chemical processes.

  • Our aCella TOX kit is a bioluminescence, non-radioactive cytotoxicity assay designed to measure the release of GAPDH from mammalian or bacterial cell lines
  • Our aCella AChE kit is safe, versatile, fast, and highly sensitive

Dual Sensor assays are a type of analytical method that utilizes two different sensing elements or probes to detect and measure the presence or concentration of a target analyte in a sample. These assays typically rely on the interaction between the analyte and two distinct sensors, each with unique recognition properties to provide enhanced specificity, sensitivity, or versatility in the measurement.

  • Our Dual Sensor MitoCasp Detection kits have been created to accurately access apoptosis and false readings. They are flow cytometry based assays to detect in-situ caspase activity and mitochondrial membrane potential.
